Richard: Not too bad. I think I passed in English and Mathematics. The questions were very easy. How about you, Gary?

Gary: The English and Maths papers weren’t easy enough for me. I hope I haven’t failed.

Richard: I think I failed the Intelligence Test. I could answer sixteen of the questions.
They were very easy. But I couldn't answer the rest. They were too difficult for me.

Gary: Intelligence tests are awful, aren’t they?

Gary: Then he sat there and looked at it for three hours! He didn’t write a word!

paper這個詞當(dāng)“試卷”講時，是可數(shù)名詞。
3 How about...?…怎么樣?
用于征求他人意見或詢間情況。
4 easy enough for me，是指對我來說不難，我可以完成和通過。而too difficult for me是指對我來說太難了,無法完成和通過。

（1）enough的用法
A在形容詞之后使用：
He failed the exam because it wasn't easy enough.
他考慮不及格，因為題不夠容易。（不說 enough easy）
B在名詞之前使用：
He didn' t buy the car because he didn't have enough money.
他沒買那部車，因為他沒有足夠的錢。
C可以用在 enough… for sb．/sth．和 enough… to do sth．結(jié)構(gòu)之中：
She hasn't got enough money for a holiday.
她沒有足夠的錢去度假。
This dress isn't big enough for her.
這件衣服對她來說不夠大。
She's not old enough to live alone.
她未到獨(dú)自生活的年紀(jì)。

Atoo 表示“過于”：
I can't go out. It's too hot.
我無法外出，太熱了。
She couldn't answer the questions because they were too
difficult for her.
她無法回答問題，因為對她來說太難了。
B可以用在 too…for sb．/sth．結(jié)構(gòu)之中：
This skirt is too big for me.
這條裙子對她來說太大了。
It's too easy for me.
這對我來說太容易了。
C可以用在 too…to do sth．結(jié)構(gòu)之中：
The exam was too difficult for him to pass.
考試太難了，以至于他無法通過。
The box is too heavy for you to carry.
這個盒子太沉了，你沒法扛起。

她年紀(jì)太小了，無法獨(dú)自生活。
It's too far to walk home from here.
從這兒步行回家太遠(yuǎn)了。
請比較：
The wall is too high for them to climb over.
這堵墻太高了，他們無法攀越過去。
The wall is low enough for them to climb over.
這堵墻矮到如此之程度，以至于他們可以攀越過去。
