Sep. 15 Sunday Fine

We couldn' t believe that it was a village. The buildings for the farmers were very beautiful, the streets were very clean and there were many flowers in front of the houses. In the middle of the village there was a school with a wonderful building and a large playground. All the children in the village study there.

The farmers got richer by planting vegetables and raising silkworms. In their houses there were colour TV sets, fridges,washing machines, new furniture and even motorbikes. All these showed the farmers' life was getting better and better.

The great changes had attracted foreigners. Today some of them would come to visit it. We were happy for the farmers. We hope the farmers will be richer and happier.

It was the second day of our winter holiday. I felt good. I felt I'm free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Beijing. So I live alone but I don't feel lonely. But I didn't do something special. I stayed at home and watched TV. Oh! I wrote an English daily netposition. It was my homework. Today, I have slept for 14 hours. I thought I was very tired. It was time for dinner. I must go! I am very hungry.

Yesterday afternoon, my teacher led ten students to a poor primary school in the suburbs. I was one of them. We got there at 3 o'clock and they were in class. So we went to the office first. We took some books, stationery and gadgets for students. We gave them to the school principal directly. I was a little surprised by the environment. There's no gate, no playground and only one building with eight rooms, six of them for classrooms and one for office, the another one for cooking, because some students eat their lunch at school. After a short chat in the office, we went to the classrooms and attended to class. They were all concentrated but the students of Grade One were a little naughty. They moved in chairs often and sometimes talked with neighbors. After class, students gathered on the front of the building and they were divided into five groups that each of them contained two of my classmates. We told stories, sang songs and played small games. All of my classmates were impressed by this visit and we hoped that we could go there again.

Today my parents and I went to Hong Kong where my aunt lives.We went there by planeit just spend us an hour.

My aunt received us at the air pot.After lunch we visited the Disney Land in Hong Kong. Mad Hat Cup in Disney Land is my favorite game. We sat in a cup; it is green with a lot of waves pattern on it. The cups have different colors and patterns. When the game started the cup turned and turned and turned around. It went faster and faster gradually. When it's time up it stopped slowly.

Three days ago we decided to visit the Great Wall.

Today we met at the bus stop early in the morning. When we were on the bus, we saw a lot of new buildings and new shops.Beijing was taller than before, I thought.

It took us about two hours to get to the Great Wall. When the Great Wall appeared in front of us, we couldn't , t help thinking how wonderful it is! I wondered how the people in the past built it without modem machines. It is said you can see it from the space.I was proud of it.

After coming home I made up my mind to study harder than before. When I grow up, I will work hard to make our country more beautiful and stronger.
