一、找準(zhǔn)主題，集中突破

一個好的主題，通常都是采用滴水映海洋，粒沙藏世界的手法。從一滴水里能看到大海的樣子，從一粒沙中能展現(xiàn)整個世界，這是多么地不容易呀!但是，好主題通常就是這樣表達(dá)出來的。每位GRE作文考友專業(yè)背景、準(zhǔn)備時間與英語基礎(chǔ)各不一樣，在作文中面臨的問題當(dāng)然也不一樣：有些是語言和思想都很出色，有些是有思想但表達(dá)不出來，有些是英語好但思路打不開，一個作文小組只有幾個人或者十幾個人，就能夠看出這些差別來，用一種統(tǒng)一的方法來進(jìn)行準(zhǔn)備，未必對每個人都意味著高效率。

二、避免低效率低水平

這一點(diǎn)是承接第二點(diǎn)的。題海戰(zhàn)術(shù)有兩個問題：一是沒有解決根本問題，二是機(jī)會成本過高。所謂機(jī)會成本，就是你花的時間過多，而這些時間本來可以用來做更有意義的事情，比如說記單詞，學(xué)習(xí)語法或者看書開拓思路。設(shè)想你英文很差，但你寫作很努力，在考試時又碰上了寫過的題目，你的作文得了5分以上，但verbal只有300多分，人家一眼就能看出你的真實(shí)水平來。所以我覺得在打基礎(chǔ)的同時，要把重點(diǎn)放在提綱也就是思路的準(zhǔn)備上。

四、選擇性地練習(xí)實(shí)戰(zhàn)寫作

試想一下，如果你在考試時面對題目，最可能使你心慌的是什么?那可能就是這道題沒見過，不知從哪下手;如果你想過了，即使你沒寫過，你也不會太緊張。我備考時只寫了兩篇issue和兩篇argument，時間主要花在熟悉題目上，argument看得少一些，issue看了一半左右，有點(diǎn)輕敵了，如果全看的話就會更沉著。
